HC One’s Elmwood House had a number of special visitors today, in the form of different animals including a meerkats and snake!
The Residents, Relative and Colleagues at the Boston home had a visit from Spirt of the Wild who brought in a number of wonderful animals for everybody to interact with.
The Residents got to cuddle and pet the animals if they wanted to, and even watched the owl fly in the room. Spirit of the Wild also talked to everybody about the history of the animals and their natural habitats.
The visit was great and some Residents even overcame fears of some animals they had, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for everybody.
One of the Residents said “I loved seeing the owl, it reminded me of the time back on my farm”.
