Pat Storey, who is Resident at Brindley Court, celebrated her 80th Birthday today.
To make this day extra special, Wellbeing Coordinator Carol Inkip, and fellow Colleagues arranged a surprise birthday party for Pat with her family included via video call. She had lots of presents and cards delivered to the Brindley Court care home to surprise her.
Her family created a family photo album and they had large cards of her grandchildren cut out so it was as if her family was really there even though they joined in via Skype.
Pat was very grateful for the effort everyone put into the day. The Cinema room in the Home was set up as a surprise for Pat with the cards and presents from her family and a special 80th cake from her family.
Pat was very surprised with the party and effort put in, and commented, “Having the party set up in the cinema room, just for me, really made my day.”
Benedicta Delos Santos, Home Manager, said, “We were very happy that Pat was able to celebrate this milestone birthday with her family.”
