Spanish lessons for old and young at Eastleigh care homeOld meets young to learn a new language at HC-One’s Chandlers Ford care home in Eastleigh.

Ten children accompanied by their parents visited Residents at Chandlers Ford to learn Spanish as a group. The session, hosted by Ainhoa Nicholl, from Kidslingo included lots of fun games and singing, all of which helped Residents and the children learn Spanish words and phrases. 

Everyone had a great time with plenty of fun and laugher. Residents commented that they would like to have more sessions with the children, Ainhoa has kindly agreed to host monthly sessions at Chandlers Ford.

Eileen W, a 94-year-old Resident at Chandlers Ford commented:

“It was nice to see so many dads taking part in the session with their children, in my day dads were not involved in children’s activities.”

Cassie Munnoch, Home Manager at Chandlers Ford said:

“The Kindslingo sessions are fantastic for the physical and mental wellbeing of Residents, the smiles on their faces said it all.

“We look forward to welcoming Ainhoa and the children back every month for more exciting and educational sessions.”
