Residents at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home in Dudley were treated to a Sound of the 40’s show, which took them back to their dancing days.
Will and Rachel visited the home where they raised the rafters as they jived, sang and foxtrotted with the Residents.
Team member, Vicky Jones danced the afternoon away with Residents and they loved every note of the music, so much so, one of the Residents asked when they would be returning.
Residents enjoyed a marvellous evening, they all clapped and cheered very loud in their costumes.
“The costumes worn were of the 40’s era and uniforms of the Army, they all looked so smart”, Home Manager, Julie Jones commented.
Les Blackwell, a Resident at the home, remarked: “It took me back to my war years, it was such a wonderful afternoon.”
