Skewen Care Home welcome special visitor on World Music Day

Residents at HC-One Cwrt Clwydi Gwyn Care Home in Skewen were thoroughly enjoying a musical afternoon on World Music Day recently when they were joined by Stephen Kinnock MP who called in to tour the Home and chat to some of the Residents.

Care Colleagues at the Home had decided to celebrate it was World Music Day with a hippie theme so asked local entertainer Mark Evans to come along and sing some popular and well known songs from the 1960’s. The Home was duly decorated and everyone dressed up in costume.

Phyllis Sandry was really thrilled to meet Stephen Kinnock MP and commented

“he looks so much like his father and was such a lovely gentleman to talk too – we did appreciate him joining us on one of our musical afternoons”.

I would like to thank everyone involved as this is indicative of how HC-One provides the kindest care”.
