HC-One’s Fleming Court care home in Jesmond opened its doors to friends, family and members of the local community for its annual Summer Garden Party on Friday 26th July.
Residents, visitors and members of the team at Fleming Court enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon, with live entertainment, a falconry display, stalls, a tombola, raffle as well as delicious food and drink stands.
A great time was had by all, the feathered friends from a local falconry centre were the highlight of the event and everyone loved meeting a barn owl, eagle and peregrine falcon.
Geoffrey Reeves, a Resident at Fleming Court said: “I thoroughly enjoyed myself, what a great afternoon, thank you to all involved.”
Fleming Court Home Manager, Julie Baron, commented: “What a great day, thank you to my wonderful Colleagues for organising such a wonderful event and a special thank you to the local community for coming along and supporting Fleming Court.
“We also raised just under £200 which will be donated to the Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
