HC-One’s Cairnie Lodge care home in Arbroath, Angus opened its doors to friends, family and members of the local community on Saturday 17th August for an annual Summer Fete.
Residents were joined by the local community for a day of fun-filled activities, including stalls, live entertainment and miniature ponies. Everyone had a great time, with Residents commenting on how much they enjoyed spending time with loved ones and get to meet some new people.
One Resident said: “I really enjoyed browsing the stalls and getting the chance to pet the ponies, thank for you for such a wonderful day.”
Cairnie Lodge Home Manager, Heather Sivewright commented: “Thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Fete, it was a lovely day and we managed to raise over £900 for our Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
