Residents at Aberpennar Court care home in Mountain Ash were delighted to put their talents to the test during International Sit ‘n’ Knit Day.
In conjunction with the home’s local craft shop, Residents at Aberpennar Court got underway with their knitting as they each created a number of colourful squares.
As the event doubled up with Trooping of the Colour, everyone had their best fascinators and fancy headwear on as they watched the parade on TV while knitting.
One Resident commented: “That was so much fun! We looked lovely all dressed up.”
