HC-One’s Ashgrove care home welcomed member of the local community, John, who attended the home to host a sing-along for Residents and Relatives.
Everyone was delighted as John played a variety of songs from Residents’ favourite years, which was enjoyed as everyone got up to dance whilst singing along to the wonderful songs from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
The Residents enjoyed the afternoon singing and dancing, but also being serenaded by John who sang various Elvis songs to everyone.
A fun afternoon was had by all, and the home hope to welcome John back again soon. Home manager, Julie Jones, commented: “A wonderful time was enjoyed by all. Everyone enjoyed the music played, and said how much it reminded them of their youth.”
