Silverwood Nottingham Care Home on Friday 29th September joined in with the national Macmillan Coffee morning celebrations.
The homes Macmillan coffee morning managed to raise £107 and residents (along with staff support) really enjoyed helping bake the cakes as well as eating them throughout the morning!
Wellbeing coordinator Mikala’s Lemon and Blueberry Cake won the "Great Silverwood bake off" – as voted for by Silverwood residents.
Local district nursing teams came along for the morning and were very impressed with the quality of cake baking and effort that had gone into raising so much money for Macmillan.
