Silverwood enjoy some Care Home Olympics
Silverwood Care home in Rotherham recently enjoyed a day out at Rotherham Football Club as they participated in the Care Home Olympics.

Residents competed in games such as Boules, Skittles, Dominoes and Bean Bag Toss and the home won certificates for the best dancer and for winning the Skittles match.

The Residents also enjoyed an afternoon tea along with a tea dance to finish the day off. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Resident Doris commented:

"I'm 90! I didn't think I would still be able to do these things!"

Home Manager, Carrie Ann Davies, commented:

"What a great idea! Residents cannot wait to compete in the next games. Thank you to Rotherham FC for hosting us."
