HC-One’s Silverwood Care Home in Sunnyside, Rotherham, is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The team at Silverwood was delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as “Good” overall, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents and that it is Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-led.
The CQC’s report was full of praise for Silverwood’s ‘caring and considerate’ team. Colleagues were described as being ‘skilled and effective’ and ‘constantly alert to people’s needs’, and the inspectors highlighted how they are ‘happy, relaxed and promoted a positive and safe environment’.
Residents and relatives at Silverwood shared the CQC’s praise for colleagues. One Resident commented, “I have always liked living here. It is a friendly place”, while one relative noted, “I have seen lots of homes in this area and this is the best. The care is very good.”
