Residents took a trip down memory lane at HC-One’s Maple Court Care Home recently, as they watched a theatre production which included all of their favourite plays.
Everyone enjoyed a few laughs as they watched the story of two young girls following a career in Broadway, acting out scenes from popular plays including; ‘Chicago’, ‘Annie’ and ‘My Fair Lady’.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the play as they sang along and remembered watching the same productions in their younger days.
They especially enjoyed the sense of humour of the actresses as they did their best to make everyone laugh successfully.
Hayley Rix, Home Manager, commented: “A wonderful afternoon was enjoyed by all, and it was lovely to see the Residents laughing away.”
