Members of the care team at Sheraton Court have raised £40 by holding a coffee morning in aid of Dementia UK.
The whole team were asked to ‘fake it or bake it’ and contribute a cake to the event. They charged £1 for a cup of tea and a cake and invited all of the Residents family and friends to attend.
A quiz was organised for everyone to enjoy as well as a word search. A variety of handbags were also laid out for sale which the women all loved browsing.
Linda College attended with her mum and husband and commented that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, especially tasting the gorgeous cakes.
Resident Betty Stacey commented:
“That lemon cake is so tasty. Don’t give it to anyone, it’s mine!”
