HC One’s Holmwood care home had a delivery of beautiful drawings and paintings from local school children today to brighten up the home.
One of the children at the school wanted to encourage her class mates to create some lovely artwork, to help support and brighten the spirits of the Residents at the home.
The pictures are filled with rainbows and bright colours, letting the Residents know that they are not alone during this difficult time.
The artwork has really improved the moods for the entire home, including the staff, and everybody wants to express how grateful they are to receive this kind gift from the children.
One of the Residents commented ‘It’s so nice to see the younger generation involving themselves.’
