Sheffield care home launches new memory lane nail bar for ResidentsAlexander Court care home in Sheffield was delighted to launch its new nail bar as part of a wellbeing initiative for Residents at the home.

Maintenance Operative, Eric Pickersgill, built the nail bar as an addition to Alexander Court’s Memory Lane hair salon.

The new initiative provides Residents with a place specially built to relax and catch up over a pamper session.

Colleagues at the home gave the new hair and nail salon helped give the nail bar some finishing touches before the grand revelation to Residents and their loved ones.

Residents are delighted with the new initiative, with many commenting on how nice it will be to get away from everything for a while and be pampered.

Bea Gibbons, Home Manager at Alexander Court, said: “The new hair and nail salon has already proven to be a success for our Residents, as it provides them with a new therapeutic experience here in the home.”
