Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Alexander Court care home had their harvest celebrations in full swing.
It was a great afternoon at the Sheffield care home, were the home was filled with all things harvest festival.
The Residents and Colleagues had created a beautiful display, the chefs had even baked some fresh bread ready for it.
Hymns were sung, prayers were said and a talk about things that everyone is thankful for was had too. It was a lovely afternoon of reflection and there was a lot of good energy.
There was plenty of refreshments afterwards, and everyone talked about their memories of harvest festivals as a child.
One Residents, Barbara, said “what a wonderful afternoon, so much hard work has been put into it. I have thoroughly enjoyed it.”
