Sheffield care home celebrates success in CQC reportHC-One’s Ascot Lodge care home in Intake, Sheffield is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The team at Ascot Lodge was delighted to receive an impressive report that
rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents. This also shows that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible and Well-led.

The inspectors were full of praise for staff at Ascot Lodge, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for people living at the home.  This sentiment was echoed by Residents and their Relatives, who made remarks such as: “The staff are very good, yes they are kind” and “The food is smashing.”

The report reflected the variety of stimulating activities available to Residents at the home, including gardening groups, animal therapy, reminiscence sessions and musical afternoons at the home.
