At HC-One’s Ringway Mews nursing, residential memory and nursing memory care, in Wythenshawe, Colleagues have been supporting one Resident with her love of gardening and poetry.
Doreen, who lives at Ringway, has spoken of her love of flowers, and having a nice garden. She also particularly loves ‘Daffodils’ by the poet William Wordsworth (officially known as ‘I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud’).
Colleagues at the home have supported Doreen with garden and planting which she has thoroughly enjoyed and speaks of how much joy a garden can give to you.
Heather Pickup, Home Manager, remarked, “We always try and learn our Residents loves quickly and then incorporate activities into this to make living here feel like home.”
