Due to many care homes across the UK being restricted to visitors, Residents at Roxburgh House care home in the West Midlands have taken to the traditional style of writing to loved ones.
Joan Beddoes is a Resident at Roxburgh and explained that she would love to write to her husband, Frank, who resides in another care home.
This traditional way of communicating is great that Joan can send heart warming messages to her husband and enjoys that she can keep touch with him in this way.
She said, “I am sure he will like (receiving) it.”
Home Manager, Linda Wilkes, commented, “I feel for all Residents and loved ones at this time. We always make sure everyone can still keep in touch and talk to their loved ones whenever they wish.”
