Residents at Acacia Court care home in Pudsey showed off their inner artists as they created a fantastic entry for the local scarecrow competition.
After much deliberation between Residents in the homes, everyone decided to make a Guy Fawkes-inspired scarecrow to put forward in the competition.
Everyone loved helping stuff, dress and decorate the scarecrow, as they even added finishing touches such as a hat and shoelaces.
The scarecrow is currently displayed in the home’s welcoming foyer and has been a popular talking point amongst Residents, Relatives and people visiting the home.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the competition, as one person said: “I loved designing the scarecrow, it brought back so many childhood memories.”
