HC-One’s Roxburgh House’s Residents took a trip to local Weston-Super-Mare after deciding they would like to spend a day at the seaside.
Upon arriving at the beach on the warm and sunny day, Residents enjoyed a fish and chip lunch together before taking a refreshing stroll along the promenade. Residents enjoyed an ice cream after lunch with some opting for cups of tea, whilst they watched as people rode donkeys on the sand and played in the sea.
The trip gave Residents reason to reminisce as they each spoke about their past trips to the beach during their younger days, as they discussed their favourite things about the beach and their favourite beaches to visit.
Linda Wilkes, Home Manager, commented: “I am so glad that the Residents have enjoyed themselves today at the beach. It’s wonderful to see them happy each day and with a smile on their faces.”
