Residents at HC-One’s Bridgewater Park care home in Scunthorpe have been celebrating St. Patricks Day the proper way, with drinks and Irish music.
Bridgewater Park Residents gathered together in the afternoon to start off their Paddy’s Day celebrations and listened to Irish music as they reminisced about the times they and their families took trips to Belfast and Ireland.
One Bridgewater Park Resident said: “I have really enjoyed the change and chatting to my friends about Ireland.”
Later in the afternoon Residents enjoyed some lovely sandwiches and cakes as well as a few drinks of Irish Cream and Sherry as they decorated the lounge ready for the evening.
Bridgewater Park Home Manager, Julie Moult said: “It was lovely to see the Residents all sat round enjoying themselves, they are really looking forward to the next event.”
Residents and staff at Bridgewater Park enjoyed a sing and dance into the night, making sure they celebrate Paddy’s Day properly.
