Traditional Scottish celebrations at The Beeches care home in Nottingham were enjoyed by Residents and staff alike.
The celebrations kicked off with entertainment from singer Brian McGregor, who performed a number of popular Scottish songs, which Residents and staff danced along to.
Residents were also treated to a selection of traditional Scottish food, including shortbread, homemade Dundee cake, and a dinner consisting of meat pie with puff pastry, mushy peas and gravy.
Dorothy Simmonds, a Resident at The Beeches, said: “I really enjoyed the Scottish songs, the singer was fantastic.”
Anne Upton, Home Manager, said: “It was lovely to see Residents and staff dancing to the Scottish music together. The food also went down a storm, with everyone commenting on how delicious the Dundee cake was.”
