The lucky Residents at HC-One’s Dove Court care home in Burnley have received some beautiful cards for Valentine’s Day this year from local school children.
The children of Holly Grove Primary School have worked hard on their cards and drawings. This year, they decided to send their works of art to the Residents at Dove Court to spread the love through the home this Valentine’s Day.
One Resident said: “Oh, what a lovely card! It’s a really nice surprise, how nice of them to think of us.”
The cards have been put on display throughout the home so that all the Residents and adore and appreciate all the hard work the children put in.
Dove Court Home Manager, Catherine Brierley, commented: “How thoughtful of the pupils to think of our Residents at this time.”
