School choir performs Christmas carols at Blackburn care homeResidents from HC-One’s Old Gates care home in Blackburn welcomed members of the choir from St Bedes School to listen to their Christmas carol performance.

Students from St Bedes School visited Old Gates to perform traditional Christmas carols and songs for Residents, members of the care team and visitors. Everyone loved the performance, Residents commented that it brought back many happy memories.

Susan Doherty, Deputy Manager at Old Gates said: 

“Residents loved having the children visit and perform. It brought a real festive feel to everyone at Old Gates. We are keen to build strong community links as we love have people of all ages visit and get to know all of our amazing Residents."

“It was so lovely to see the smiles on the faces of Residents as they enjoyed wonderful performance.

“On behalf of everyone at Old Gates I would like to thank St Bedes for sharing their beautiful voices and bringing festive cheer to our home.”
