Scarecrows and singing for Haslington home HarvestToday at Primrose House Colleagues and Residents have been preparing for the Harvest event.

Pauline, the Wellbeing Coordinator, was painting leaves and making a scarecrow.  Residents Maureen and Helena loved painting the leaves to be used on a Harvest Tree of Lights. Margaret helped to stuff the scarecrow which has now been named Dolly.

The Residents all commented on how Harvest makes them feel very seasonal and thinking, ‘winter will not be long away.’

As usual no activity can be done at Primrose House without singing, which all the Residents love!

Maureen commented that the scarecrow needed a little more hair so it was decided that the straw would be replaced with a wig.

Alison, Senior Home Manager, commented "As usual the Residents have enjoyed not only the painting and scarecrow making but the singing, which can be heard throughout the home".
