Santa and his elf distribute the presents at Market Lavington care homeSanta, played by Market Lavington care home’s maintenance man, Colin Bull, and his Elf, played by Deputy Manager Leanne Vinakadina, distributed the presents to all Residents at the Devizes based care home today, providing a wonderful splash of colour and Christmas jolliness to all!

There were Christmas carols being sung in the process, and it was around the time Residents were being served tea and a mince pie, so the festive spirit was very strong!

They weren’t short of positive comments from the Residents, including;

“This is so lovely!”
“You look ridiculous!” Said with humour and affection of course!

Residents enjoyed the wonderful colourful and jolly costumes and the fact it was Colleagues that were inside them! They loved the surprise of it all.

They of course were very appreciative of the gifts too;

“Thank you! It is so kind. And you look silly!”
“Aw, that is lovely!”
“Where did you escape from?”

“This is so kind! Thank you so much! Christmas is wonderful!”

Leanne remarked, “It is lovely to see the Residents smile and have fun after a difficult year for them.”

Everyone would like to thank Colin and Leanne for all the effort they put into this day and for spreading cheer and good tidings!
