Residents at HC-One’s
Quayside, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Glasgow, were very excited to see Santa’s reindeers.
Despite the cold weather and wet day, Residents from the Quayside were treated to a special visit from Santa’s reindeers.
Residents were so happy to be able to feed Dasher and Dancer. Staff from the home assisted some of the Residents and also got a chance to pet and feed the reindeers too.
The Residents families came to see the reindeers and were able to get some Christmas photos.
One Resident, commented, “This was just lovely, what a treat to see the reindeers up close.”
Another Resident, said, “My family will never believe I’ve seen a real reindeer, especially in Yoker!”
Care Home Manager, Shaun Docherty, added, “What a lovely treat before Christmas, well done to the team for ensuring Residents were able to participate in this event.”
