Residents at HC-One’s Woodlands View care home were delighted to welcome the local Salvation Army group to the home on the Tuesday 17th September.
The group sang songs with Residents before providing a short service and enjoying refreshments with all. Around 15 Residents attended the afternoon as they enjoyed speaking with members of the group, laughing together and enjoying an afternoon tea.
The Salvation Army group enjoyed their visit to the home so much that they have vowed to return again for regular monthly visits.
Residents remarked at how lovely the afternoon was, and how much they enjoyed singing with one another.
Deby O'Hare, Home Manager, commented: “Residents have really enjoyed themselves today, they’ve enjoyed having the Salvation Army group visit, and we look forward to their next visit.”
