Salford Wellbeing Coordinator wins The Care Home Activity Organiser Award Category at the Great BritLesley Pearson Moore, Wellbeing Coordinator, at HC-One’s Pendleton Court care home in Salford, a 58-bed residential, nursing and residential dementia care home, was crowned winner of The Care Home Activity Organiser Award Category at the North West Region of the Great British Care Awards. 

The awards ceremony took place at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester on Saturday 12th November. The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional awards which take place throughout the UK, recognising excellence across the sector and acknowledging the hard work shown by individuals in within their field of work across 23 different award categories.

Lesley was recognised by the judges for bringing meaningful and positive changes to the wellbeing of Residents at Pendleton Court, since she joined the care home around eight years ago.  She is always striving to find solutions and ways around any obstacles in order to meet the needs of people that she supports and provides everyone with the best outcomes!

Her passion for wellbeing and quality of life has been shown in many ways: ranging from constantly looking for new ways to link with the local community to taking part in every project offered to enriching the lives of people living at Pendleton Court.

Commenting on her win, Lesley said: 
“I am thrilled to be the recipient of this Great British Care Award. It is such an achievement for me to be recognised for the work that I do for Pendleton Court.”
