HC-One’s
Pendleton Court care home, in Manchester, which offers residential, nursing and residential dementia care, received an amazing donation of a Touch Table from the family of one of the Residents.
Helen, who is Resident Tom Bird’s daughter said that she knew the home were fundraising and asked what it was for. The home explained it was for the sensory Touch Table (pictured) and she said that she would donate to the home as it would benefit Tom and the whole community!
Everyone was incredibly overwhelmed with this generous donation and can’t thank Helen and her family enough.
Residents have been loving the live shows, the games and the applications that can be used on the Touch Table.
One of the Residents commented, “Wow it’s amazing. I absolutely love the pottery app!”
Lesley, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “This is going to be amazing for the staff to use while I’m not here, the uses of the Touch Table are limitless!”
