HC-One’s Bankwood care home in Belper celebrated the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Saturday 19th May.
Residents and staff gathered together for a day of celebration, with a glass of fizz in hand and a lovely cream scone everyone watched the wedding ceremony on the TV.
There was not a dry eye by the end of the wedding, with Residents commenting on how beautiful the bride looked and how moving the ceremony was.
Everyone cheered as the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their first kiss as husband and wife. A great day was had by all, Residents and staff at Bankwood enjoyed celebrating such a joyous occasion together.
