HC-One’s Cairnie Lodge care home in Arbroath, Angus celebrated the birth of the of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child on Monday 6th May.
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born at 5:26 am, weighing 7lbs and 3ozs and is seventh in line to the throne. Residents at Cairnie Lodge were delighted to hear the news that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex had welcomed a healthy baby boy.
In celebration, the team decorated the home and hosted a fundraiser to guess the baby name before it was announced, the funds raised will go to the Resident’s Comfort Fund.
Residents commented that they thought that baby Archie is beautiful and they are so happy for new parents, Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
