Residents at Chandlers Ford care home in Roundhay, Yorkshire, were delighted in wishing Alfie a happy first birthday.
Alfie is an English Springer Spaniel who is owned by the Home Manager, Nancy Hicks. This pampered pooch is also an aspiring pat dog but sadly, due to the pandemic restrictions, Alfie's training is on hold for the time being.
The Residents at Chandlers Ford were first introduced to Alfie when he was just 12 weeks old and he quickly became a firm favourite; bringing much fun and laughter on his monthly visits to the Nursing Home.
Colleagues and Residents were delighted at seeing his photographs on his first birthday. “He sends lots of wags and licks!” Nancy commented.
Eileen Williams commented that he was very cute and that she missed seeing his wagging tail and floppy ears, “He looks very sweet in his hat and bandana. we miss him!”
Nancy looks forward to the day when he can come back and visit as he is much loved by residents and staff.
