Residents at Silverwood care home in Rotherham enjoyed celebrating a special Mother’s Day with their families at the home.
To make the most of the glorious spring sunshine, staff at the home organised live musical entertainment for Residents to enjoy in the garden.
Kitchen staff also provided a refreshment trolley full of delicious sweet treats for Residents and Relatives to enjoy.
Staff also arranged for mothers and their children to have photographs taken on the day, which were printed as a keepsake for Residents.
One Resident commented: “The day was absolutely lovely. I particularly enjoyed the lemon drizzle cake.”
Vickie Walker, Care Assistant at Silverwood, said: “I love it when we can enjoy special events like these together. It was brilliant to be able to help Residents create such lovely memories with their families.”
