A Resident at HC-One’s Roseland Court Retirement Village in Truro, Cornwall celebrated a big milestone last week, her 100th birthday.
Margaret was born on 24th April 1918 and was married to Arthur Barnicoat until 1980. She co-ran Lidgey’s Coaches with her brother, Wilfred, until her retirement in 1984.
She then spent many years travelling both the UK and abroad with her cousin before settling down into village life and fundraising which is a passion of hers.
Margaret moved into Roseland Court 10 years ago, just after her 90th birthday, where she is very comfortable, well looked after and very content.
