HC-One’s Roseberry Court Care Home in Redcar, Cleveland are dedicated to making their Residents’ wishes comes true.
Olive Lawrence wished that she could have a day out in the countryside and as it was a perfectly sunny day, the team at Roseberry Court organised to take Olive on a trip out to Errington Woods with her friends from the Memory Care floor to enjoy a picnic lunch.
When everyone boarded the bus and Olive was told where it was they were going, her face lit up and she was so excited.
Everyone really enjoyed sitting in the fresh air, enjoying their lunch and watching all of the wildlife pass by. Olive’s favourite moment was watching the squirrels come along and steal their leftover sandwiches, making her giggle.
They even had their very own weatherman with them, Brian Stonehouse, who kept everyone updated on what he thought the weather was going to do be doing next, much to Olive’s delight.
On the bus trip home, everyone had a huge smile on their faces and thanked Olive for letting them be a part of her wish.
