Roseberry Court celebrate Mother’s Day surrounded by family and friendsRoseberry Court decided to choose the theme of family and friends for their Mother’s Day celebrations, as they are so important to everyone at the home.

Invites went out to all of the Resident’s family and friends to enjoy a Sunday lunch with the ladies. The meal included of a choice of pork, beef or chicken with all of the trimmings and of course, no Sunday lunch is complete without Yorkshire puddings.

Wine was served at every table for everyone to enjoy and a selection of puddings were offered to finish the meal. Each and every lady was then gifted with a small present, a beautiful heart shaped cupcake with a lovely message on each.

Everyone commented that they had such a wonderful day, spending time with their loved ones and meeting other Resident’s families and friends.

The Residents loved spending time with their families and introducing them to their friends and staff. One Resident, Geraldine Sykes, said “I felt like the Queen having lunch with all of my family, it’s been the best Mother’s Day!”

Betty Suddick, a Resident at Roseberry Court, commented:

“Oh, it’s been so lovely spending this quality time with my girls and we all loved the little gifts, they were so thoughtful.”

Alison Corner, Roseberry Court’s Home Manager, commented:

“It was so lovely for our Residents to be able to introduce their family to their friends and staff; they looked so proud showing them off.”
