Residents and visitors at Roseberry Court spent Dignity Day together with refreshments and lovely cakes, chatting together about what dignity means to themselves and others.
A dignity book was created where everyone could write their thoughts on what dignity means to one another.
Everyone spent time really getting to know each other making people feel more comfortable to express their needs and really listening to what they wanted. This will help maintain the maximum level of independence, choice and control they have over their own and each other’s lives.
The Residents commented that it was a great day and a great way to get to know each other that little bit more.
