Colleagues at HC-One’s
Rose Court care home, in Radcliffe, Manchester, have decorated the visiting pod in a Christmas theme.
The visiting pod at the 87-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home facilitates Residents and their loved ones to share memories and have their photo taken for the upcoming festivities. This will then be used to make Christmas cards.
Allison Porter, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “So far this weekend, we have had lots of laughter and use by Residents and their families.”
The space will remain festive throughout the next month.
Residents said how much they love Christmas and having pictures taken. One of the Residents remarked, “This looks different, what’s in the presents?”
Allison added, “Creating memories is very important for everyone and seeing everyone smile is worth millions.”
