At
Rose Court care home, in Radcliffe, which offers residential, residential memory care, nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia, Residents have been testing their photography skills out by using cameras to take pictures of objects (and animals!) in and around the beautiful home.
Residents, including Gil, Irene, Jason, Jimmy, Christine and Mary, worked with the wellbeing team and took random pictures within the home and outside the home, including images of flowers, transport, landscapes, and a tortoise!
Occasionally, Residents often like to look out of the window and watch the world go by, and now they have taken pictures of what they are looking at too. Residents whom are in wheelchairs, captured the sites from their seats
Allison Porter, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “This made my heart and face smile. One Resident said they had never taken a picture before! Everyone loved the result from one click and seeing things far away close up.”
“The next activity will be a college of the photographs taken.”
