Romford care home Residents enjoy egg-cellent EasterResidents at Chaseview enjoyed an Easter themed day of excitement as they took part in a variety of activities.

The Easter bunny even hopped into the home to visit, as Easter eggs were handed out for all Residents to enjoy, alongside an Easter egg hunt in the home’s garden, which everyone enjoyed taking part in as they searched for their favourite chocolate treats.

Easter themed sweet treats were also prepared by the chef, as cookies were baked and large Easter cakes were created, as well as diabetes-friendly alternatives.

Residents enjoyed the afternoon of fun, with Home Manager Arnold Pariag, commenting: “it has been lovely to see our Residents enjoying themselves and getting involved in the activities throughout the afternoon.”

Easter is the most important date in the Christian calendar and celebrates the day that Jesus rose again. The date of Easter changes every year and is usually marked on the first Sunday after the full moon or on or after 21st March because it is based on the Lunar calendar.
