HC-One’s Gable Court care home in Romford, Essex is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The team at Gable Court were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.
The inspectors were full of praise for Colleagues Gable Court, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by Residents, Relatives and Colleagues at Gable Court.
The CQC report noted that
“staff described how they developed caring relationships with people. The provider had a system in place where each person had a named nurse and care worker who had overall responsibility for the person’s care. People and their relatives were involved in decisions about the care.”
Inspectors also commented on the home’s ‘Resident of the day’ system where each person had a day dedicated to them to make them feel special.
