HC-One’s The Elms care home in Whittlesey, Peterborough kicked off the festive season with a rocking Christmas Party on Saturday 8th December.
Residents and members of the care team welcomed visitors throughout the afternoon and shared stories over a glass of a mulled wine or a warm cup of tea whilst festive music played in the background. At 2pm the party was in full swing with a performance from an Elvis tribute act which had everyone singing and dancing along.
Father Christmas also paid a visit to the party, he spent some time chatting with all of the Residents and presenting all of the children with a small gift before heading back to the North Pole to prepare for the big day.
Later everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch prepared by Chefs at The Elms before saying their goodbyes as the party came to an end. Everyone had a great time, with some Residents commenting that their favourite part of the day was seeing the children with Santa, while others thought the Elvis performance was the highlight of the party.
