HC-One’s Thamesfield care home in Henley, were extremely pleased to recently welcome the local Henley Rock Choir as they visited the home to perform for Residents and Colleagues.
The Henley Rock Choir is a community group which offers an alternative experience to the traditional classical choir, providing a new approach to entertainment by using well-known hit songs with original vocal arrangements and performance elements.
Singer Lucy Hewes, led the choir as they sung a plethora of well known songs, each carried out in beautiful harmony. The performance took place on the terrace of the home as Residents each enjoyed a refreshing ice cream whilst taking in the glorious sunshine by the river.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they danced and sang along to the choir’s wonderful melodies.
Lina Nela, Home Manager, commented: “It was lovely to see Residents enjoying themselves as we watched the choir perform so amazingly under the beautiful sunshine. We hope to welcome them back soon.”
