At Daneside Mews care home, in Northwich, Colleagues have been working on some ‘life stations’ in the memory care environment.
The home has currently made a ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ area with a working record player, they have also turned a drab corner in the reception into a cosy library which is getting so much use from the Residents.
One Resident, Josie, said, “I had lots of old records when I was younger, you can’t beat the sound.”
There’s lots more to come with the next project being an indoor gardening area where Residents can grow flowers and veggies all year round.
