HC-One’s Carders Court Care Home in Rochdale, welcomed the local community to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day in style on 21st April.
The choirs sang ‘You Are My Sunshine’ at the same time, creating a ‘Big Sing’ that brings HC-One homes across the country together in unison.
The family of HC-One homes across the UK took part in activities throughout the day, with Carders Court hosting a tea party, with performances from local entertainers and dance troop.
The catering team provided a wonderful tea trolley with a choice of cream cakes, scones and savoury snacks, along with an old fashioned pick and mix sweet display for Residents and their loved ones.

“Thank you to all who came to take part in Care Home Open Day with us. We all had a wonderful time sitting and chatting with our loved ones and neighbours. Residents really enjoyed celebrating with the visitors and watching the dance troop perform.”
