8 Residents from Ringway Mews Care home made the most of the sunny bank holiday weather by packing up a picnic and heading to their local park to spend some time in the fresh air.
Residents enjoyed seeing everyone out and about enjoying the rare sunny weather and talked about how much they enjoyed going to the park in their childhood.
The picnic consisted of tasty finger sandwiches, crisps and plenty of juice to keep hydrated in the hot weather. It was a wonderful afternoon and everyone had a lovely time.

“It was wonderful to smell the fresh grass and see the flowers blossoming; it was a wonderful day to be out in the glorious sunshine. It was great fun to be outdoors.”
