Old friends Norah and Maria lived next door but one to each other when their children were little. Over the years, they remained in contact and would often see each other out and about in Ilkley.
When Norah moved into a flat and Maria moved to live with her son, they sadly lost contact.
They were both extremely surprised, therefore, to see each other at Straven House, where Norah is now a resident and Maria came for a short respite stay.
They have now had plenty of time to catch up over a cup of tea and have enjoyed seeing each other again.
